Reporting to the Plant General Manager, responsible for all distribution functions for the Madison plant. World’s largest producer of Zinc supplying 85% of the world demand. International shipping 54% of all outbound production. Functions include warehousing, Domestic and international traffic management, inventory control, customer service through a program of "customer delight". Japan packaging team. Direct responsibility for $3.3mm annual budget.

Multiple storage and shipping warehouses totaling 500,000 sq.ft.

Material Control Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, material flow and control responsibilities in a manufacturing environment. This is a consumer product manufacturer of golf carts and go-carts. Multi-facility material flow responsibilities with service to all manufacturing departments. Charged with developing material handling solutions for the efficient movement of raw materials through production. Responsible for supporting the production schedule, and achieving high inventory accuracy. Transportation of raw materials and finished goods via dedicated truckload carriers, LTL, and company owned fleet.

A Q1 Ford certified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of electrical components to automotive engines and communication/electronics industry. Responsible for receipt, control, and delivery of raw materials for production; control, packaging, and shipment of finished goods via LTL and truckload carriers. Oracle based MRP system.

Logistics Officer, Officer Candidates School, Quantico, Virginia 1992 to 1993

Management, training, and evaluation responsibilities for 60 members of the school logistics department in support of a 400 man school staff and 2000+ students. Management responsibilities also included: Facilities Management for 18 building campus, Food Service, Industrial Hygiene, Transportation, Drug and Alcohol screening program, and Safety.

One of a few select Marine Officers accepted for duty as a role model, mentor, and teacher. Trained, screened, and evaluated officer candidates from colleges and universities across the country for the future leadership of the United States Marine Corps.
