Accomplishments include:

·         Productivity improvement – production increased 50% in 9 months.

·         Cost reduction – tooling cost reduced 33%; scrap cost reduced 18% from 1998.

·         Capacity improvement – installation and qualification of $1.1 million of grinding equipment; process development resulting in 11% reduction in cycle time.

 

Area Manager for fuel-injector spray tip department. Responsibilities included: Management of manpower and resources; manipulation of bottleneck operations to increase throughput; initiating and leading continuous improvement projects. Accomplishments included:
